Hi, I'm Jay, co-owner of the family run Tenny Fryer. In 2012, The Tenny Fryer was born. We use traditional methods of cooking fish and chips to bring the best quality food and products to our customers. We keep our recipes very simple and don't add unnecessary ingredients. Take our batter mix for example, as others may promote how unique their "beer batter" is, or they add MSG or some bulking agents for a "superior" taste, we simply do not. Ours literally, is flour and water and we all know that is the jist of it. But the trick is HOW you cook it.
We source the best quality fish and freshest ingredients, cook them with care in a 5 star hygiene rated environment to serve up your delicious takeaway meal. We also use the best quality potatoes available from UK farmers (this includes Maris Pipers, Agrias and Ramos - when you pop in, just ask which ones we are currently using) and we cook these in premium vegetable oil which contains no allergens, no additives or hydrogenated fats. Our oil is filtered every day which guarantees the tastiest and the healthiest option for our customers.
Keeping up with the pace of life, we have realised how difficult it is to please everyone in the family when it comes to feeding different mouths and tastes and not everyone has the time to. So with that in mind, we have developed our own downloadable app for you to order through and choose to have it ready for collection - PLENTY OF FREE CAR PARKING AVAILABLE - or just simply delivered to your doorstep. Our extended menu which we can proudly say is a one stop shop for all, saves you the time and hassle but moreover, provides you with the best food and flavours around, all for your convenience.
